Extra Support
At CISM, we try to support students with learning needs, most probably those who have difficulty in following class instructions and are unable to perform well. We give them ‘Remedial Classes’ where they will be helped by the respective teachers to complete the school assignments, tasks and their weakest areas in almost all the subjects: English, Math, Science, Social Studies and Chinese as well.
Sometimes they may be helped by a specific teacher to enhance their English proficiency. They participate in speaking activities and are offered other learning aids.
The remedial classes usually take place after-school hours (between 3:00 - 4:00 pm) or sometimes during periods of the co-curricular subjects such as Art, Computer and Music, each of which takes place twice a week.
